Synopsis

Venice in the 16th century – the New York of its time: International traders, confident women and a group of artists are shaping the lagoon city. The star among them is Titian. He revolutionized painting with his rich colors and the renunciation of contours. His masterpieces are considered groundbreaking, and his depictions of women in particular are amazingly modern to this day. Titian’s success seems unstoppable until he struggles to survive in the face of the death of his wife Cecilia and the tragedies of the plague in Venice.
